Turner was Vice President of Research & Development for NUCRYST Pharmaceuticals Corp.
from June 2007 to April 30, 2008.
She joined NUCRYST Pharmaceuticals as Vice President of Research in June 2006.
Prior to NUCRYST, Dr. Turner served as Vice President of Validation Biology for Biogen Idec, Inc. from July 2001 to November 2005.
She was Vice President of Immunology and Hemostasis for Genetics Institute and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.
She received a BS from the University of Sussex, UK and an MS and a PhD in Biochemistry from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University.
She completed post-doctoral research at Brandeis University and London University.
