TRS’ Internal Investment Committee (IIC) approves investments in private equity, real estates, hedge funds and external managers. The firm’s investment performance is calculated using a daily time weighted rate of return. Investment decisions are based on asset allocation, which is determined after consideration of expected returns for asset classes with the context of risk tolerance for the fund.
