Cathy E.
Welsh has been Chief Human Resources Officer of Akamai Technologies, Inc. since April 2005.
She was Chief Learning Officer of Sun Microsystems, Inc. since 2004 and Senior Director of Human Resources since 1998.
Ms. Welsh worked at Digital Equipment Corporation and the University of Michigan Medical Center.
Currently, she is a Member of the Human Resource Leadership Forum and the Society for Human Resource Management.
Ms. Welsh was a Member of the Regional Board for Bank Boston and on the Business Council for the Human Rights Campaign.
She received an MBA from Boston College and a BA degree in Psychology from Barnard College.
