Stephen Western

Stephen Western is Senior Vice President-Exploration of Meridian Resource Corp.
Previously, he held various positions at ConocoPhillips, Burlington Resources, Vastar, Occidental Oil & Gas, BP Exploration and Standard Oil.
Prior to that, Mr. Western was Exploration Manager for the Northern Gulf of Mexico of ConocoPhillips Corporation and Exploration Manager, US Conventional Resources and Global Chief Geophysicist at Burlington Resources.
He received a BS in Physics from the University of Texas at Arlington, an MS in Geology from Texas Christian University and an MBA from Houston Baptist University.
