Profil
Michael Heise is the founder of the consulting firm Macroadvisors and Chief Economist of the Multi-Family Office HQ Trust.
Until 2019, he was Chief Economist at Allianz SE and was responsible for economic and strategic capital market analyses of the group.
Before he started at the Allianz Group, Mr Heise worked for eight years as General Secretary of the Advisory Council for the Evaluation of Macroeconomic Development, which advises the German federal government.
Additionally, he has worked as Chief Economist and Head of Research at DZ Bank and its predecessor, DG Bank.
Mr Heise has been appointed as a forecaster for the German economy several times by the Financial Times Deutschland and the Süddeutsche Zeitung newspapers.
Heise is one of the best-known economists in Germany and is a regular commentator on financial and monetary policy topics in the press.
Heise is the author of several books and is a member of numerous committees.
