Marschall Runge

Marschall S.
Runge is currently the Director at Michigan Medicine and the Director-North Carolina Translational at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Previously, Dr. Runge served as the Executive Dean & Chairman-Medicine Department at UNC School of Medicine from 2010 to 2015.
He was also the Director-Cardiology & Sealy Center at the University of Texas Medical Branch and the Director-Cardiology Division at Galveston College.
Additionally, he held the position of Independent Director at Eli Lilly & Co. from 2013 to 2024.
He was a Faculty Member at The General Hospital Corp.
and an Associate Professor at Emory University.
Dr. Runge obtained his doctorate degree from Vanderbilt University and his undergraduate degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
