John Young Campbell worked as a Professor at Princeton University from 1984 to 1994.
He then worked as the Director of Research at PanAgora Asset Management, Inc. from 1998 to 1999, and as the Co-Director of Research at Arrowstreet Capital LP from 1999 to 2023.
He also served as a Board Member at Harvard Management Co., Inc. and as the President of the American Finance Association.
In 2009, he was the President of the International Atlantic Economic Society.
Dr. Campbell received his undergraduate degree from the University of Oxford in 1979 and his doctorate from Yale University in 1984.
