Adam Maryniok

A native of Karvina, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Masaryk University in Brno.
He then continued his studies at the Institute of Economic Studies at Charles University in Prague, where he received a master’s degree.
During his studies, he spent half a year in Vienna through the Erasmus programme and one academic year in the United States (University of Nebraska-Lincoln), as the holder of a Robitschek Scholarship.
While studying, he started his professional career Patria Corporate Finance’s M&A division, after which he worked at the consulting company Starteepo.
There, he was advised on the initial public offering of shares on the START market for small and medium-sized enterprises on the Prague Stock Exchange.
He also spent a year working in the Prague office of the American consulting company Kearney.
He joined EMMA Capital in the fall of 2021, and in spring 2022 he participated in the acquisition of FAVI, a web aggregator and online furniture search engine.
He then took on the role of CFO for FAVI in the fall of 2022.
