Broomall is Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Vought Aircraft Industries, Inc. He was named to this position in April 2004.

He was responsible for strategic planning, marketing, advanced technology and proposal development.
He also served as Vice President and Integrated Product Team Leader for Commercial Programs of Northrop Grumman's Aerostructures business segment, where he was responsible for nacelle products and the Gulfstream V Wing Program.
Formerly, he was Vice President - Nacelle Products Integrated Product Team, Business Development and Planning for Aerostructures.
He had the same responsibilities as a vice president for the Commercial Aircraft Division of Northrop Grumman before its reorganization as part of Northrop Grumman's Integrated Systems and Aerostructures Sector.
He joined the LTV Corp.'s Aircraft Division in July 1990 as Director of Nacelles Business Development.
The Aircraft Division later became Vought Aircraft Company, which in January 1995 became part of Northrop Grumman's Commercial Aircraft Division.
