Prior to joining Tano Capital in 2007, Mr. Robacker founded Robacker Global Investments, Ltd (Singapore, Panama), to provide asset management services for high net worth clients.
He developed client-specific hedge and risk management strategies to protect against global currency fluctuation and inflation.
In 2003, Mr. Robacker was the Chief Administrative Officer for Franklin Templeton Alternative Strategies in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
He was in charge of setting up administration and operations for the new division and launching new single strategy and fund-of-fund products.
He established risk management and compliance procedures, and set up fund accounting, custody and transfer agency relations.
From 2000 to 2002 Mr. Robacker served as the Chief of Business Strategy for the Franklin Templeton joint venture in Cape Town, South Africa.
He was responsible for merging the FT-NIB offices and creating the business strategy for the joint venture.
Prior to 2000, he was a technical analyst for the Templeton hedge fund division in Fort Lauderdale.
Mr. Robacker received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Nebraska (1981), and has completed Masters Studies in Business (UNL), Computer Science (ACCIS) and Financial Risk Management (HWU).
