Shawn Thekkerara

Shawn is a partner at IIP and Co-Manager of IIP’s GEM Impact Long-Only Fund .
Prior to joining IIP, Shawn founded Theoria Capital LLC, a personal investment vehicle for both private and publicly traded companies.
HeIn this role, he invested in a wide variety of companies, ranging from apparel manufacturing to healthcare technology.
Shawn’s investment career began at Axiom International Investors LLC, a hybrid institutional investment manager with both long only and long short equity funds.
He helped build the company from assets under management of approximately $700 million to a peak of $15 billion; Mr. Thekkekara started as a Research Associate and worked his way to Partner, Co-Manager of two existing funds, lead Portfolio Manager of the Axiom Global Opportunity Fund, and Director of Research.

in Economics from Columbia University.
