Ross Baird

Ross is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Blueprint Local and is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the firm, partnership & deals structuring, capital raising & fund formation, new deal sourcing and fund management.
Ross has led the investment and management of approximately $200 million in real estate projects through Qualified Opportunity Funds with partners developing projects across the Southeast, Texas, and Mid-Atlantic.
Before launching Blueprint in 2019, Ross spent the majority of his career building and investing in businesses.
He Co-founded Village Capital, a seed-stage venture firm with investments in over 100 portfolio companies, which has a focus on emerging markets.
Ross was also involved in creation of the Opportunity Zone legislation.
Ross holds a BA from the University of Virginia and Masters from the University of Oxford, where he was a Truman Scholar and a Marshall Scholar.
Ross is the author of the book The Innovation Blind Spot.
