Robert W. Fri

Robert W.
Fri is Vice Chairman of Electric Power Research Institute, Inc., a Director of American Electric Power Co., Inc. and a Trustee of Science Service, Inc. He is a Member of the National Petroleum Council and the Biological and Environmental Research Advisory Committee at the Department of Energy.
Previously, Mr. Fri held various positions at McKinsey & Co., Inc. from 1963 to 1971 and from 1973 to 1975.
He was Deputy Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency from 1971 to 1973, Acting Administrator of the Energy Research and Development Administration from 1975 to 1977.
Mr. Fri was President of Energy Transition Corp.
He received a BA degree from Rice University and an MBA from Harvard University.
