Rene Veloso

Mr. Rene Veloso is Vice President at Ivy Capital Partners LLC.
Prior to joining Ivy Capital Partners, LLC, Mr. Veloso worked at HSS Ventures, the Hospital for Special Surgerys venture capital group.
Mr. Veloso also co-founded the New York Orthopedic Technology group, a joint venture between the Hospital for Special Surgery, Venrock Associates and New Leaf Ventures, in order to fund promising seed stage orthopedic companies.
Prior to HSS Ventures, Mr. Veloso worked at Monitor Group and Merrill Lynch Investment Banking as a healthcare industry specialist.
Mr. Veloso received a B.A.
with Honors from Washington University in 1989, a J.D.
from Northwestern University in 1992 and a M.B.A.
from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2000.
