Randall German

In addition to his role at Pangea Ventures, Dr. German has a broad background in advanced materials ranging from sintered materials to the fabrication of net-shape engineering structures.
He is technical advisor or member of the board of directors for several firms, professional organizations, and policy agencies.
His efforts have been applied to a wide range of sintered products from jet engines to electronic capacitors.
Dr. German holds Director positions with six companies including Advanced Materials Technologies and Allomet.
He was Brush Chair Professor in Materials with the Engineering Science and Mechanics Department and Director of the Center for Innovative Sintered Products at The Pennsylvania State University.
Dr. German obtained his PhD degree in Materials Science from The University of California at Davis in 1975, following a MS degree in Metallurgical Engineering from The Ohio State University (1971) and an honors BS degree in Materials Science and Engineering from San Jose State University (1968).
He has completed an intense management program at the Hartford Graduate Center (1979).
