Rajeev Thakore

Rajeev Thakore is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Beacon India Advisors.
Rajeev has over 20 years experience in private equity, corporate finance and banking.
Rajeev Thakore completed his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St. Stephens College, New Delhi, MBA from University of Saskatchewan, Canada and Pre Business Program from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio, USA. He has about 20 years of experience in banking and financial services sectors.
Before Jacob Ballas, Rajeev was the CEO of Shriram Financial Services (“SFS”).
At SFS, Rajeev was instrumental in closing two prominent private equity transactions (Television Eighteen and Fujitsu Telecom), which were amongst the first structured private equity transactions in India.
Prior to SFS, Rajeev held management positions with HSBC, where he was a Resident Officer, and BNP Paribas, where he was Operations Manager of the New Delhi office.
Rajeev has an MBA from University of Saskatchewan (Canada), attended the Pre-Business Program at Kent State University, Ohio and has a BA Honours (Economics) from St Stephen’s College, Delhi.
