Paul D. Mortimer-Lee

Mr. Paul D.
Mortimer-Lee is Global Head of Market Economics at BNP Paribas (London Branch).
He has worked for BNP since 1995 and is responsible for the global economic coverage of the bank’s team of market economists who are located in the main financial centres.
His main focus includes the financial crisis, the US slowdown, global inflation and global imbalances.
Prior to BNP Paribas, he worked for Monetary Analysis Division of at the Bank of England, where his most recent position was has Division Head for Forecasting and Conjunctural Analysis.
He also worked in the bank’s Gilt Edged and Money Markets Division and on issues relating to regulation and taxation policy.
He also spent time working at the International Monetary Fund in Washington DC.
Mr. Mortimer-Lee graduated from the London School of Economics where he obtained his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Economics, specialising in monetary economics.
