Mr. Paul Cheng is a Managing Partner with AP Capital Holdings and head of its Special Situations Group.
Paul has over 30 years of Asia-specific and investment banking experience.
Before joining AP Capital, he was a consultant on an Asian Development Bank project in India.
Prior to that, he was a Partner and Managing Director of Delta Associates, the advisor to a US$350m Asian Equity Infrastructure Fund.
Previously, he was with AIG Investment Corp as Director of Direct Investments responsible for TMT transactions as well as Director and Acting Deputy CEO of the US$ 1.2 billion AIG Asia Infrastructure Fund I.
As an investment banker, he was Head of M&A for BZW Asia.
He has also held senior leadership roles at NM Rothschilds Hong Kong and Andersen Corporate Finance.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of CPAs and the Hong Kong Securities Institute.
Paul received a B.Sc in Physics from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland and completed post-graduate studies at INSEAD, France and the Harvard Business School.
