Profil
Mr. Patrick Fenal is on the Board of Directors at Unigestion SA and Unigestion Holding SA. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the EDHEC Risk and Asset Management Research Centre and in 2008 contributed to the creation of AIMA's Guide to Sound Practices for Funds of Hedge Funds, as Chairman of the Steering Committee.
He joined Unigestion in 1978.
He moved back to Switzerland to join Unigestion as a Bond Manager and contributed to the development of the “horizon yields” technique in 1982.
In 1986, he led Unigestion's foray into Hedge Funds, building a team, structuring research, and developing an investment process that makes Unigestion one of the leading institutional fund hedge funds managers.
Before his appointment as deputy chair of the Unigestion group in 2011, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Unigestion SA from 1996 to 2010.
Mr. Fenal started his career in wealth management at Credit Suisse before working in Iran for a retail branch of ABN AMRO.
He then joined a brokerage firm in the US.
Mr. Fenal studied Economics at the University of Geneva.
