The firm specializes in managing money for private investors, offering private portfolio management, discretionary management and financial advisory services. They also manage a range of mutual funds.

(BISL) is the investment management subsidiary of Barclays Bank Plc (Private Banking), the private banking division of Barclays Bank Plc (LON: BARC, ADR: BCS) in Great Britain. The firm was founded in 1992. They were previously known as Gerrard Investment Management Ltd. until 2017. BISL is headquartered in London and has offices throughout Great Britain where they manage investments for high-net worth individuals, charities, trusts, private clients and pension funds.
