Michel Piette

Mr. Michel Piette is an Investment Manager at MaxCap Partners LLP.
He has over seven years of industry experience in asset allocation, manager research and hedge funds.
He co-founded Moonraker Fund Management in 2008 and was responsible for the Hedge Funds Research and Due Diligence functions for the Moonraker funds; he was also a member of the Investment Committee.
He was the Head of Manager Research for the Moonraker Commodities Fund when it won the HFR Best Performing European Energy/Commodity Fund of Hedge Funds Award in 2009.
From 2004 to 2008, he was a Hedge Fund Aanalyst for the TRF Fitzwilliam Funds at BDO Stoy Hayward Investment Management in London.
He was a Senior Hedge Fund Analyst for the TRF Fitzwilliam Commodity Plus Fund when it won the HFR Best Performing European Energy/Commodity Fund of Hedge Funds Award in 2007.
Between 2002 and 2004, he was an Associate within Asset Consulting for Towers Perrin in Montreal specialising in fund selection and investment research.
Mr. Piette holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Universite Laval in Quebec City, Canada.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
