Michael Donohoe

Mike is an Operating Partner with Appareo Capital.
He has over 25 years of experience working with healthy, troubled and distressed companies as outside counsel, general counsel, “C” level executive, turnaround consultant, and private equity investor.
Mike practiced law in private firms in the areas of commercial finance and corporate bankruptcy from 1987 through 1999.
From 1999 to 2005, combining extensive commercial bankruptcy experience with executive experience in distressed corporations, Mike was engaged by a series of public and private companies in various roles, including Chief Restructuring Officer.
From early 2005 until 2010, he was a Principal in a private equity manager focused on lower and middle market investments in distressed situations.
He managed several portfolio investments as Board chairman or member.
Prior to co-founding Appareo, Mike was a founder and President of CornerPost Capital Partners, LLC.
Michael graduated from Stanford University in 1984 with a B.S.
in Applied Earth Sciences and earned his law degree from the University of Chicago in 1987.
