Perusa is an active, long-term manager which invests through their private equity fund in medium-sized companies undergoing change and in smaller companies with the potential for strategic advancement. They invest in companies in all sectors which have their headquarters in the European Union, but do not invest in start-ups. The firm seeks to invest in companies with an annual turnover of EUR 30 million to more than EUR 1 billion which have existing product and market history. They only take minority stakes in exceptional cases and co-invest with partners if required. Through their fund, Perusa invests in a range of transactions including expansion projects, management vacancies, weak earnings, crisis, turn-around, carve-outs, spin-offs, and succession situations.
