Formerly known as Oddo Meriten Asset Management SAS, the firm was founded in 1978 as WestLB Mellon Asset Management KAG mbH. From 2006 to 2012, they operated as a joint venture between BNY Mellon and Portigon AG (formerly WestLB AG). The firm was founded in 1991 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Landesbank Hessen-Thueringen Girozentrale, itself a subsidiary of Sparkassen- und Giroverband Hessen-Thüringen. Helaba Invest offers financial advisory services and manages segregated accounts and institutional funds for institutional clients.
