Mason Zheng

Mr. Mason Zheng is an Associate Portfolio Manager at Cedar Street Asset Management LLC.
He joined Cedar Street in June of 2016 and became a partner in January of 2020.
While he has a natural geographic focus on China and its surrounding areas, Mason’s background and experience in Information Technology, Chemical and Process Engineering, and Industrials adds value to Cedar Street’s investment process across developed and emerging markets.
Mr. Zheng worked at ARCH Venture Partners in Chicago as an Investment Consultant specializing in early stage investments in chemicals, materials and life science.
He has also worked at LANXESS in Shanghai, China as a Project Manager in mergers and acquisition projects.
Prior to that, he worked at Air Products and Chemicals at its China and U.K.
offices and later at SGL Group as a Business Development Manager.
Mr. Zheng holds an M.S.
in Environmental Engineering and a B.S.
in Applied Chemistry from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
