Mark R. Slusar

Mark joined Enhanced Capital in 2005 and serves as Managing Partner.
Based in Maryland, he oversees all operations for the Small Business Lending department.
His responsibilities include managing members of the firm’s investment group and coordinating all Small Business Lending activities.
Mark is an active multi-stage investor for the firm.
He originates transactions, coordinates due diligence activities, executes transactions, and manages a diverse portfolio of investments across the country.
Mark serves on the investment committees of the firm’s investment funds and its Risk Oversight Committee.
He provides financial and strategic planning to support Enhanced Capital portfolio companies and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of several companies in software, new media, consumer goods, and other industries.
Prior to Enhanced, Mark spent six years in merchant banking, where he executed software and clean energy investments.
He is an active angel investor focused on impact investments and has been the initial seed capital in several companies that leverage technology to provide measurable social impact.
He is also involved in organizations that educate and mentor the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Mark earned an undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College and a J.D.
from Case Western Reserve University.
