Mar W. Jennings

A long-time resident of Westport, CT, Mr. Jennings began his career in banking in 1994.
He has worked for such venerable institutions as J.P.
Morgan Chase and Citibank.
Prior to joining Harbor Bank & Trust (In Organization), he was Senior Vice President/Regional Manager for Hudson United Bank.
He started his banking career at Citibank, FSB in Westport, CT where he received extensive formal credit and management training.
He is known for his outstanding leadership qualities and entrepreneurial resourcefulness.
An expert in sales management, customer relationship building and management, and consumer/business lending, he is able to incisively influence, motivate and persuade others while instilling trust.
Mr. Jennings’ history of community service exceeds twenty years.
While President of the Downtown Merchants Association (4 years), he revitalized the organization with his creative marketing and advertising campaigns resulting in a new brand identity and website.
Other community organizations that have benefited from his passion for philanthropy include Children and Family Services, Dress For Success, Cancer Care and the Near and Far Aid Association.
A fierce competitor, Mr. Jennings successfully won back-to-back New England Regional and Eastern Sectional Figure Skating Championships in 1992 and 1993.
He appears on WTNH, Channel 8 in his home and garden television show called Mar Jennings Home & Garden®.
He also appears on the Good Morning Connecticut weekend television show as its “Lifestyle Expert”.
Mr. Jennings has been featured in national and regional magazines, and numerous local publications.
In 2007, he added author to his list of accomplishments with the release of his highly anticipated book, “Life on Mar’s, A Four Season Garden”.
