Dr. Leon G.
Smith, MD, is an Advisory Board Member at Radius Ventures and Director of Medicine and Chief of Infectious Diseases at St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey.
He is also Chairman of Medicine at the Seton Hall University School of Graduate Medical Education, Professor of Preventive Medicine/Community Health at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and Professor of Medicine at New Jersey Medical School.
Dr. Smith has been widely published and has received numerous awards and research grants in the field of infectious disease.
Dr. Smith serves on the Editorial Board of Infections in Medicine , is a member of the Review Committee for Archives of Internal Medicine , and is Feature Editor for Infectious Disease Practice .
He is President Emeritus and a member of the board of directors of the National Foundation of Infectious Diseases.
