Prior to joining August Capital in 2008, Ms. Blum spent 8 years working as a corporate and securities attorney with Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP, a leading Silicon Valley law firm focused on the representation of technology companies.
She has represented start-up, emerging growth and public companies, venture capital funds and venture and institutional investors, and specializes in corporate and securities law, public and private financings, mergers and acquisitions and venture capital fund formation.
Ms. Blum earned her J.D.
from the University of California Hastings College of the Law and earned her B.A.
in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
