John F. Ackerman

John F.
Ackerman is a Director of Blue Sky Group, Inc. and a Co-Founder of the Gordon Conference on Solid State Chemistry.
He is a Principal Engineer and MIES/GRC Development Coordinator of General Electric Co.'s Aircraft Engines, Cincinnati, Founder and President of Wyoming Industrial Research Corp., Laramie, Wyoming, Founder and a Principal of Get A Grip LLC, Laramie and an Adjunct Professor of the Chemistry Department at the University of Wyoming, Laramie.
Dr. Ackerman was Senior Research Scientist of Ceramic Laboratory, Senior Research Chemist of VLSI Technology Laboratory and Research Chemistof the Device and Display Branch for General Electric's Corporate Research and Development Center.
He was an Associate Editor of the Materials Research Bulletin.
Dr. Ackerman held various positions at E.I.
DuPont de Nemours & Co., Central Research and Development and Centre Nationale de Recherche Scientifique of Paris.
He received a BS degree in Chemistry from the University of Wyoming and a PhD in Chemistry from Brown University.
