Johann de Castro

Prior to joining Darby in 2005, Mr. de Castro worked in the healthcare industry for the last nine years.
Most recently, as the CFO for Careco, a growing business that manages community homes in DC for the mentally retarded and mentally ill adults.
In his role as the CFO, Mr. De Castro managed accounting personnel and all financial transactions that flowed through the company.
Prior to Careco, Mr. de Castro worked for one of the largest Clinical Research Organizations (CRO), PAREXEL International, with 80 offices in various countries.
Mr. de Castro was responsible for all the accounting and financial aspects for its Centerville office.
Mr. de Castro has extensive experience in financial statements, business forecasting, strategic planning and financial analysis.
Additional exposure included financial modeling, cost benefit analysis and due diligence with acquisitions.
Over his 15+ years in the accounting/finance industry, Mr. de Castro has worked with a wide variety of financial software and professionals.
A graduate of the University of the District of Columbia with a BA in Accounting & Business Administration and a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Mr. de Castro is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Maryland Society of CPAs and Treasurer for a non-profit entity.
