Founded in 1994 as FIM Asset Management Ltd., the firm was acquired by Reykjavik-based Glitnir banki hf (ICEX: GLB) in 2007 and renamed as Glitnir Asset Management. They changed their name back to FIM Asset Management Ltd. in 2008 after an MBO from Glitnir and became S-Bank Fund Management in 2021. Headquartered in Helsinki, S-Bank offers discretionary asset management, fund management and financial advisory services to institutions, companies and private investors with a team specifically dedicated to insurance companies.
