Jeff Friedman

Mr. Friedman has been instrumental in all aspects of managing Monumental Venture Partners, LLC.
He has made key contributions and is responsible for portfolio management, fundraising, investor relations and reporting.
He has been the lead on all of MVP America, LP’s investments.
He has been responsible for valuing, structuring, negotiating and closing transactions including Series A financings and convertible debt issues.
In addition, he has represented MVP America, LP’s interests in the acquisitions of Cinea and Telverse as well as the Series B financing of EyeTel.
He has built a reputation in the local venture capital community and among entrepreneurs as an aggressive, straightforward yet pragmatic venture capitalist.
He serves on the board of three of MVP America, LP’s portfolio companies: Digital Sandbox, Inc., EyeTel Imaging, Inc., and JB Cubed, Inc. In addition, Mr. Friedman also served on the board of Cinea, Inc. through its successful acquisition by Dolby Laboratories, Inc. Mr. Friedman earned both a B.A.
in economics from the University of Virginia in 1984 and an MBA in finance from the George Washington University in 1991.
He also completed executive education programs in mergers & acquisitions (1996) and negotiations (1998) at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
