Jan Borø

Jan joined Verdane Capital’s Oslo office after the 2003 acquisition of SND Invest, where he worked as an investment manager.
He also has management and operational experience in the shipping industry from Den norske Bank’s (now DnBNOR) shipping and offshore division, Ulstein International AS and the Fearnley Group.
Jan has served as a naval officer/staff officer in NATO and as a commanding officer on missile torpedo boats in the Royal Norwegian Navy.
At Verdane Jan focuses on the oil & gas sector and has been instrumental in building companies such as Vector and Odim, the latter from first investment through to IPO.
Education: Jan has business education from NHH-Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration and is a graduate of the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy.
