Mr. Gil M.
Orbach is Chief Investment Officer at Spruce Investment Advisors LLC.
Mr. Orbach is responsible for helping formulate and implement the firm’s asset allocation, risk management and portfolio rebalancing processes on behalf of the firm’s clients, in conjunction with the Investment Committee.
Additionally, he takes a lead role in the development of customized solutions on behalf of clients that involve the intersection of complex investment, tax, entity structure and wealth transfer issues.
Prior to joining Spruce Investment Advisors in December 2002, he was employed by JPMorgan in both the Global Derivatives Group and Private Bank.
In Global Derivatives Group, he was a trader on the interest rate and cross currency swaps desk, and later covered institutional investors across currency, commodity and interest rate derivatives.
In Private Bank, he first ran the firm’s training program for the global private bank and later covered clients as a banker out of the Northeast region.
He received his BA in Economics from Princeton University.
