Geraint Evans

Mr. Geraint R.
Evans is an Investment Director at Salamanca Capital Partners LLP.
He joined Salamanca in 2014 and has over 8 years of experience of acting as a principal for, and advisor to, distinguished private equity firms in their investment activities in the real assets sector.
He is responsible for managing Salamanca’s principal corporate finance and investment activities and leads the corporate finance activities of Gravity, the UK’s first commercial smart campus.
Prior to Gravity, he managed the formation of the UK’s first private investment fund dedicated to affordable housing, Funding Affordable Homes, from concept to Salamanca’s sale of the business in 2017.
Prior to Salamanca, he worked within the investment team of Infrared Capital Partners managing the UK’s largest public infrastructure fund (HICL) and played a key role in the growth of its renewable energy comparable (TRIG).
He has also worked at Triple Point Investment management analyzing renewable energy and technology ventures, and lead the financial appraisals for the UK’s first private equity fund dedicated to hydroelectric energy.
He holds masters in finance (specializing in energy sector LBOs), and mathematics (specializing in quantum computational algorithms) and enjoys playing cards and rugby.
