Chartwell Investment Partners LLC (Chartwell) is a SEC-registered investment advisor headquartered in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. The firm was founded by Timothy Riddle in 1997 and is a subsidiary of Carillon Tower Advisers, Inc. (dba Raymond James Investment Management), which is owned by Raymond James Financial, Inc. (NYSE: RJF) in Great Britain. Chartwell provides investment supervisory services on a continuous basis to a variety of individual, institutional, investment company, private fund and corporate clients. The firm is a sub-adviser to investment companies registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940.

In 1915 Charles Edward Merrill founded Merrill Lynch & Co. (NYSE: MER) with Edmund C. Lynch in Baltimore, Maryland. The modern Merrill Lynch was formed in 1940 through mergers with E.A. Pierce & Cassatt and, soon after, Fenner & Beane. In 1973, Merrill Lynch adopted a holding company format, with Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. as the parent and Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith as the operating subsidiary. Merrill Lynch Asset Management, Inc. (MLAM) was created as an integral business unit in the Merrill Lynch family in 1976. Fund Asset Management, doing business as Mercury Asset Management, was acquired in December 1997. In 2000, MLAM and Mercury were combined under the name Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. MLAM manages the Merrill Lynch family of mutual funds, as and acts as sub-advisor to other mutual funds.

Macquarie Investment Management Business Trust (MIMBT) is a SEC-registered investment advisor headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The firm was founded in 1988 and formerly known as Delaware Management Business Trust. They are a subsidiary of Delaware Investment Management Co. LLC, ultimately held by Macquarie Group Ltd. (ASX: MQG) in Australia. MIMBT advises a variety of institutional clients. The firm also provides investment services to certain affiliates and acts as a sub-advisor to unaffiliated sponsors and investment products.
