He began his financial services career at Paine Webber in 1980 where he was responsible for a variety of administrative operations.
From 1982 to 1991, he served as Vice-President and Regional Branch Manager for the clearing firm Securities Settlement Corporation.
In this capacity, his duties included securities trading, the evaluation of new technologies, as well the management of a four office network of over 100 professionals.
He joined Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. in 1992.
He headed Schwab Institutional equity trading desk that serviced the firm's largest money management clients.
Mr. Andresen is married and has one daughter.
He is a licensed New Jersey Youth Soccer coach and devotes much of his free time to the training and coaching of a local girls travel team.
In addition, he enjoys camping, skiing, and a wide variety of home improvement projects.
