Finnur Árnason

Finnur Árnason was the founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Hagar hf, a company founded in 2003.
He is currently the Chairman of Smáralind ehf, DBH Ísland ehf, Eignarhaldsfélagið Dagar ehf, Ferskar kjötvörur ehf, Hagar Verslanir ehf, Íshöfn ehf, Noron ehf, Samtök verslunar og þjónustu, Sólhöfn ehf, and a Director of M50 ehf, Brúnkór ehf, Olínaverzlun íslands ehf, Dgv ehf, and Rekavík ehf.
He previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Hagkaup from 2000 to 2005.
He also served as Chairman of the Confederation of Icelandic Employers and Íslandsbanki hf.
Additionally, he was the Managing Director of Gott Folk from 1987 to 1989 and Nýkaup from 1998 to 2000.
He worked as the Marketing Manager at Slaturfelag Sudurlands Svf from 1989 to 1998.
Mr. Árnason holds an MBA from the University of Hartford, which he received in 1987, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Iceland, which he obtained in 1985.
