From 1968 to 1991, Dr. Chait held various positions in marketing and business development at DuPont in instrument and life science products, including Director of Licensing and Acquisition for the Biotechnology and Diagnostic Division.
He has served on the Visiting Committee of NIST, the US Israel Technology Commission of the Department of Commerce and the Advisory Board of the Purdue University Cancer Center.
He received a BA degree in Chemistry from Cornell University in 1964 and a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Purdue University in 1968.
