Ed Coombs

Prior to joining New Hill, Mr. Coombs was a fund manager at Aberdeen Asset Managers, London for two years in the Private Equity team focusing on university spinouts, early stage technology companies and mature growth companies across all sectors.
In 2001 Ed was a co-founder of a successful corporate finance boutique Village Capital which specialised in venture capital advisory and fund raising, particularly in university and private sector spinouts.
Before this Ed was in investment banking, latterly at Daiwa Sumitomo, London, where he was an analyst in the Global Telecoms, and Oil and Gas Teams focusing on IPOs and the secondary markets in Europe and the Former Soviet Union.
Mr. Coombs studied at the Universities of St. Andrews, UK, and Uppsala, Sweden and achieved an MA in Management.
