ClearArc Capital traces their origins to Investment Strategies, Inc. (ISI), a Cleveland-based investment firm, which was founded in 1975. In 1992, ISI changed their name to Maxus Asset Management, Inc. (MAMI). In connection with the acquisition of the parent company of MAMI by FITB in January 2001, the firm’s name was changed to Fifth Third/Maxus Asset Management. In its present state, the firm was formed in 2012 through a corporate reorganization in connection with a minority equity investment made in the firm by LPC London LP, an affiliate of Lincoln Peak Capital. They are a subsidiary of TLC Holdings LLC. The London Company provides discretionary portfolio management services to individuals and institutional investors through separately managed accounts, mutual funds and select channels.
