David Marek

Mr. David Marek has many years of experience in M&A advisory, acquisition finance, corporate banking and private equity.
Mr. Marek is currently a partner at ARX Equity Partners (formerly branded as DBG), a prominent mid-market private equity firm focused on Central and Eastern Europe, where he is primarily responsible for coverage of Czech and Slovak markets.
Prior to that, he held a senior management position in corporate banking division of Ceská sporitelna, a leading Czech commercial bank and member of Erste Group, heading the Large Corporate Clients section of the bank.
Previously he was working in Erste Bank’s CEE acquisition finance team while structuring debt funding for numerous private equity sponsored transactions throughout the region.
Earlier is his career, Mr. Marek worked in the M&A advisory team of CA IB Corporate Finance, member of Unicredit Group.
Mr. Marek received master's degree from the University of Economics in Prague with majors in International Trade and Banking.
