Dan Meges

Mr. Daniel Meges is a Senior Managing Director of Research at Clearstead Advisors, LLC.
He joined Clearstead’s Research Team in 2018.
He is responsible for evaluating and monitoring global public equities, including US, international and emerging market equity strategies.
He is primarily responsible for conducting manager due diligence for long-only public equity strategies, manager reviews, analyzing fund statistics, and forming investment recommendations.
As part of the Clearstead’s public markets team, he assists in determining the firm’s views on asset allocation, risk management, and capital market assumptions.
He brings valuable experience in market research and economic analysis to the firm, having served most recently as a Senior Director with Freedonia Custom Research— a division of MarketResearch.com—partnering with the firm’s largest global clients.
Previously, he had also worked more than a decade as an economist, primarily with the U.S.
State Department specializing in economic development, international assistance, global labor markets, and trade policy.
He received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, a graduate degree from The University of Chicago and an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago.
