Polychromix's spectrometer products offer performance and cost advantages by replacing IR spectrometers that use expensive interferometers or detector arrays with an NIR spectrometer that uses a single detector and the company's MEMS chip. Polychromix's vision is to develop a unique, new breed of miniaturized material analyzers and spectroscopic solutions that allow for bringing the analyzer to the subject in the field as opposed to bringing a sample to an analytical device in the lab.
