Chris Waters, MS, is Senior Director of MyUPMC Technical Operations at UPMC Enterprises.
Chris joined UPMC Enterprises in December of 2010 and has held various roles within UPMC Enterprises and their commercial portfolio companies.
Chris’s primary responsibilities include the oversight and direction of cloud infrastructure and offerings, oversight of software implementations, and product releases to assure optimal system performance and reliability.
Chris also oversees operational procedures to ensure implementations meet the requirements around schedule, reliability, functionality, security, and cost.
He is also charged with resolving conflicts and removing roadblocks that impact productivity while building senior-level relationships with project sponsors/client stakeholders.
Chris earned his BSBA in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Robert Morris University and his MS in Hospital Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
Chris is also a fully certified Amazon Web Services (AWS) Developer, Architect, and SysOps Administrator.
