Arthur Bottone

Arthur (Chip) Bottone joins BOLD Capital Group as an Advisor to the newly created Energy and Power division.
He brings extensive experience in various power sources, renewable energy, energy storage, carbon capture and hydrogen.
He is a seasoned executive with a career focused in the energy and industrial markets and has vast experience working as a senior executive and as an Advisor for both public and privately held companies worldwide.
He began his career with Ingersoll Rand Company where he held General Management, President and Enterprise leadership positions during his 25 year tenure.
More recently, he was CEO and Board Member of NASDAQ-listed FuelCell Energy concentrating on the growth and development of new opportunities within the world’s energy transition with focus on renewable energy and hydrogen deployment for power generation, transportation and industrial markets.
Chip has extensive international experience working with governments in Asia and Europe.
His corporate experience includes capital markets, board governance, Innovation process implementation, revenue generation and creating a customer-centric focus.
He has been a leader in technology commercialization, global operations and acquisitions.
He is known for communicating a clear vision, attracting and developing organizational talent, and fostering an entrepreneurial culture.
Chip holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) and received a certificate of professional development from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
He currently resides in Charleston, SC with his wife, Gina, and his son, Alex.
