Alan Arnold

Alan Arnold is an Operating Partner at Thoma Bravo.
He is a global operations executive and specialist in optimizing business operations.
He is also the author of several books on technology and performance topics.
Alan was honored as a Computerworld Premier 100 Technologist and Man of Character by the Boy Scouts of America.
Most recently, Alan served as Chief Operating Officer of MeridianLink, where he was the key executive who transformed the business and ultimately took the company public.
Before that, he served on the board of directors and held multiple leadership roles at Vision Solutions, Inc., including President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Executive Vice President, where he led the company’s business strategy and global operations.
He also served as a Senior Manager of Ernst & Young, LLP.
Alan has been in the technology industry for over 35 years, and his diverse background spans startups and billion-dollar technology businesses.
Additionally, he is active with several non-profits, holding various senior leadership positions at these organizations in Orange County and Los Angeles, California.
He also served as an advisor to SpaceIQ, Condeco, Eptura and Mercell.
Alan holds a BS degree in Business Administration from the University of Redlands and majored in Accounting at Chapman University.
