Prior to working at Warburg Pincus, Mr. Baran was an Associate at Goldman Sachs in New York, where he focused on fundraising and investor relations for multi-strategy and private equity advisory relationships within the Alternative Investments & Manager Selection (AIMS) Group.
In addition, he assisted in quantitative research into private equity and alternative assets.
Mr. Baran graduated with distinction from the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a BA in Mathematics and Philosophy.
