Xiao Yu

Vancouver, British Columbia, CanadaMr Xiao Yu is currently the Director Investment & Principal of Global Health Science Fund (GHSF), a joint venture health science fund of which Quark Venture is the general partner of.
Mr. Yu is responsible for performing due diligence on potential investment opportunities as well as deal execution.
Mr. Yu also serves on various Boards of portfolio companies.Prior to joining GHSF in 2018, Mr. Yu worked in the healthcare group of Jefferies Investment Banking in New York City where he participated in the completion of multiple IPOs and mergers and acquisitions.
Before joining Jefferies, he worked for Accenture, serving government clients in the United States and leading large-scale SAP projects.
Mr. Yu also was a private equity analyst in China Everbright Holdings, conducting in-depth due diligence and research on investment target companies and industries, and evaluating investment opportunities for multiple projects.
Mr. Yu received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
